We would like to acknowledge Lisa Moran and her team at Bilancia Designs for their tremendous work decorating our wedding.
Lisa will forever be part of our wedding story. Planning a wedding during COVID is an unenviable task. Our wedding date was October 10, 2020 and we weren't really sure whether we would be able to get married due to the pandemic. It was very touch and go and it looked like we would inevitably have to cancel. Lisa was the shining light of our planning process. Whenever we felt like we were down and out, she lifted us up and reassured us that everything would be alright. And she was right! Lisa took our vision and executed it masterfully- exceeding our wildest expectations. Our photos are so much better for all of her and her team's hard work. Our family and friends still comment about how everything looked so beautiful down to the smallest detail. She even incorporated several surprises for us based upon what we had told her at our initial meeting. Lisa was there the day of the wedding and ensured that everything was perfect. She also played offense for us while we were having some issues with our venue and caterer. We wish that anyone planning a wedding has someone who has their back like Lisa had ours. You would be fortunate to have Bilancia design your wedding- your friends and family will be raving for years to come and you'll fall absolutely in love with your photos.

I have to give a special shout out to Lisa Moran at Bilancia Designs who completely blew me away with our florals. I'll never forget walking into our venue and holding my dads hand saying how everything was so perfect due to the flowers. They were everything I had imagined and more. When I originally met with Lisa I told her how I didn't want anything to look too perfect, but for everything to perfectly fit together. I wanted the flowers to look like wild flowers, and for the colors to be green, creamy white, light blue, dusty rose, and pale lavendars. Since she was the first florist I met with, SHE actually recommended me meeting with others before I pulled the plug. I think she knew it was an instant connection and could feel how excited I was to work with her, but to her advice I did meet with someone a half hour later. Once that meeting ended, I called Lisa up and told her she was booked! I just knew she got my vision and to my surprise she went even further than what I dreamed of! She designed all of our centerpieces, the floral arrangement on our place card table, the bouquets, boutonnieres, the floral arrangements which sat on the back of the bride and groom chairs, and the gorgeous arrangement which draped down our wedding cake. I honestly can't say this enough, how important these flowers were to the overall style of our wedding. They completed the entire room and blew me away. Thank you Lisa!!

Our wedding was amazing and it was primarily because Lisa, Bilancia Designs, made it so. From the beginning of this process Lisa has been able to help us to figure out precisely what we wanted our reception to be/ look like by getting to know us and our relationship better. After several meetings we decided on an English Garden theme. The talent, creativity and kindness that Lisa brought to us literally turned our reception into the vision of a true, romantic, gorgeous English Garden. I felt like a princess- the lady of our mansion! People at the wedding raved about our "wedding of the century" because it was so unbelievably beautiful-absolutely and completely perfect. What truly separates Lisa from other designers is her complete attention to detail in creating our vision. The smallest details were set forth to perfection- and it showed in the rave reviews of all of the guests. But, words alone do not come close the describing our event- just look a the pictures!
In addition to her creativity, Lisa was also unbelievably knowledgeable about what was necessary to complete our vision and also about many of the people within the industry that could be helpful to us. Having a large party/ reception can be very daunting-even scary. There are so many things to think of and many things we did not even know we should be thinking of! "Let's ask Lisa" became a very frequent comment between my ( now) husband and myself! However, with Lisa by our sides we left all of our meetings excited and happy instead of stressed. In addition to her creative expertise and vision, Lisa guided us through the entire process- gently reminding us of things that we should be thinking about and helping us every step of the way.
There truly are not proper words to describe how grateful I am that Lisa was our designer. From the hand created invitations with the breathtaking calligraphy to the antique urns gloriously filled with flowers to the fresh flower design on our wedding cake (and so so much more!) Bilancia Designs made our event extraordinary. I highly, highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking to create a unique and radiant, quite literally, dream come true.

Lisa worked with my budget and helped to give me such a beautiful wedding. I’m still receiving so many compliments on the decor and even the invitations. All you have to do is tell Lisa what you are looking for and she can pretty much make anything happen.
I would definitely go with Bilancia Designs for any other events I might have in the future. I strongly recommend using Lisa for your wedding. It’s hard to find people that do amazing work while keeping you at ease during a crazy time like planning a wedding.

Lisa Moran from Bilancia Designs is truly an artist. I had the pleasure of working with Lisa for my wedding this past June and Lisa made my wedding an absolute dream come true. Not only is she creative but she is extremely responsive, whenever I had a question or needed to add any last minute items, Lisa was on it within a few hours which is so hard to come by.
When we first met, I knew it was an instant connection and I had to have her. I explained to her my thoughts over the phone and she came prepared to our meeting with all the pictures that she felt would mesh well with my theme. As soon as I and my then fiancé stepped out of our meeting and into our cars I said to him “I have to have her, we will do what we have to, but I have to have her”. She was literally Pinterest in the flesh. Then came the nervous email, where she sent me a quote for what her fee was and that was the day I fell in love with Lisa. I could not believe how absolutely affordable she was (yes, I said affordable and wedding at the same time).
Lisa helped me plan a vintage wedding that was magazine worthy; to this day I still cannot believe how utterly amazing that day was and that it was MY wedding. She took care of everything for me, designed the flowers, the seating chart, the antique pieces that served as a the tablescape, she handed out bubbles to my guests, walked them to their seat, designed the guest favors, coordinated my grand entrance, designed the entire grounds from top to bottom (it was a big open barn space), danced with my family, assisted the caterers, EVERYTHING! I never had to worry about anything not going well because Lisa made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I always see that brides are nervous that things will not work out to their expectations but that was not the case at all with Lisa. I was always confident with her and that is so important when planning a once in a lifetime event.

Lisa Moran, at Bilancia Designs, was easily my most favorite wedding vendor. I was looking for a florist who could help make our outdoor vineyard wedding look more elegant at an affordable price. When I first met with Lisa, I knew that she was going to be awesome. She listened to what I wanted and suggested creative ideas. It is very clear that she is knowledgeable about the most current wedding trends. She recognized my style quickly and was able to make many suggestions that I would have never thought of and that I ultimately ended up using.
Throughout the wedding planning process Lisa was very accessible. I was busy finishing grad school before the wedding and Lisa was able to execute my design ideas perfectly without me having to be overly involved. She responded to all of my emails within a day (usually within the hour!). Additionally, she spontaneously checked in frequently to make sure I was still happy with the design . She was very flexible. When I asked for a creative idea for escort cards, we worked together to come up with an original idea. She also was very flexible when my guest list changed close to our wedding date.
On the day of, the Bilancia Design team was AWESOME. They arrived on time. Lisa came with more beautiful flowers and design details than I could have imagined. Our guests could not stop talking about all of the small details! I highly recommend Lisa and Bilancia Designs. She turned our outdoor event into a beautiful wedding.

Lisa Moran of Bilancia Designs was the wedding designer for our son’s wedding this past Saturday. To say she did a phenomenal job creating a masterpiece doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing the decor turned out. She completely transformed the inside of a barn (where the reception was held) into “rustic elegance” using old photos and props along with her own dried and fresh flowers and beautiful calligraphy.The outside where the ceremony was held as well as the location of the cocktail hour was also adorned with touches of Lisa’s beautiful handiwork. Many guests are still talking about it as well as sharing the pictures capturing the beauty of this event. It was the most classy country wedding I have ever seen and looked like something right out of a magazine.
One of the things which impressed me the most was when one of the bridesmaid’s bouquets went missing right before the ceremony. Lisa’s quick thinking and stash of extra flowers and ribbons saved the day…she made a miniature bridal bouquet, presenting that to the flower girl in exchange for her kissing ball bouquet which matched the other bridesmaids flowers.Lisa remained calm and resolved the problem immediately and perfectly.There were so many extra lovely touches Lisa put into everything so that our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding would be both unique and very special. With her dedication and talent, she made this day the very best it could possibly be for them.

How do you describe perfection? The words unique, special and fabulous come to mind yet they don’t really completely capture my experience with Bilancia Designs. When I needed a “one of a kind” theme for my daughter’s baby shower, I contacted Lisa. What a wonderful decision!! We met and went over the usual details of how many guests, etc. Then we moved on to the theme. Lisa wanted to know about my daughter and her interests. There would be no “what we usually do” offers. Lisa creates your event especially for YOU, down to the very last detail. I mentioned that my daughter had a destination wedding in Costa Rica and it had been a very special and beautiful event on the beach. Immediately, she combined the beach theme and the color scheme for a baby boy. She went on to tell me about the beautiful favors she could design, each box with a lovely shell on top. Inside each box would be chocolates molded into shells to create the perfect favor for our theme. Of course there was a wonderful chocolatier she had in mind. She described gorgeous flower arrangements for each table. I suggested using a vintage baby carriage hoping to find one that was similar to the beautiful hand-made invitations that she would create. Thrilled with the idea, she suggested a beautiful cascading flower arrangement for the carriage. Words could not describe the final product. I could write pages and pages about my wonderful experience with this gracious and talented lady, but in the end there is only one word to describe it… PERFECTION!!
